This blog is now read by more machines than humans: RSS robots, spam-laying insectopoids, echoes of blog-gathering .edu projects. This essentially is the state of affairs that all human activities w

Or not. I've got the debate on in the other room and it's driving me crazy. Why won't I just turn it off? Kerry's delivering his same old lines in exactly the same tones, yet again. If I hear that bit about outsourcing the capture of Osama bin Laden one more time- well I don't know what. Sputter helplessly I suppose. And hey, this one is the domestic policy debate. How'd Kerry get that in there?

Bush is no better as far as variety in responses goes. But at least in his case there's the advantage that I don't vehemently disagree.

Oy. Thank allah that this is the last one. I don't think many people are watching at this point, except for a few hardcore undecideds perhaps. This debate, obsequious pandering mixed with excruciating statistics- an ugly, ugly combination- may help them decide to stay home.

Update: Minumum wage. I don't have a strong opinion on it, but I do love Kerry saying that by raising it "we'll be putting money in the hands of people" who'll go out and spend it. It's bizarre on so many levels.

Update: OK, that was good. Bush pointed out that Kerry voted against the first Gulf War, despite the fact that it retroactively passes Kerry's "global test". "Apparently, you can't pass any test."
