This blog is now read by more machines than humans: RSS robots, spam-laying insectopoids, echoes of blog-gathering .edu projects. This essentially is the state of affairs that all human activities w

Okay, so I nominated myself for a 2004 Weblog Award. I'm not normally into awards or contests. And I certainly don't expect to win (though it's rather late for modesty now). Anyway it's in the Best Blog Design category. Design, you say? This site looks fairly plain and simple.
Well, yes. Mainly I want to know what people think of the RSS extraction device labeled "Latest" that's (probably) on the left. I've also got a design-switching thingy on the right (probably), though that's common enough. I say these things are probably on the left or right because it depends on which style is being used.
The whole site's coded and designed by me, which has been a lot of fun. Last I checked it was XHTML and CSS compliant, just for laughs. Spartac.us opened up for its (very much appreciated) handful of readers in March of 2004, but posts from the old blogspot site have been ported over too. That old site's got a whole 'nother design thing going on- works best in IE.
So here it is. Thanks for visiting.
