This blog is now read by more machines than humans: RSS robots, spam-laying insectopoids, echoes of blog-gathering .edu projects. This essentially is the state of affairs that all human activities w

In an outrageous piece of terrorist propaganda appearing on the cover of today's New Statesman, John Pilger puts the blame for the 7/7 London attacks not on the terrorists, but rather on Tony Blair:
News Feed Thingys
Got news feeds now! It's very much a work in progress, so it probably won't be all it can be for at least a little bit.
I wanted to add InstaPundit too, but the crappy xml parser I'm using isn't parsing the item descriptions like it should. Something to do with newlines, I think. On the other hand, it's kind of pointless to have Glenn on a feed; his whole blog is one giant feed.
The BBC has open feeds all over the place, but other news giants seem to be reluctant to offer this. Hmm. I suspect they're being anal with control issues. Anyway, I'll be adding and deleting feeds until I get a content mix I like.
Update: Fixed a few things, particulary that newline problem from above. It seems the php xml parser stops parsing when it hits a new line, entities, and the like. Now we're fine and dandy. Added Insta. And CNET's in there, just for some non-news news. Now the problem is that there's too much, so I gotta get to pruning.
