This blog is now read by more machines than humans: RSS robots, spam-laying insectopoids, echoes of blog-gathering .edu projects. This essentially is the state of affairs that all human activities w

John Pilger: Partner in Terrorism
In an outrageous piece of terrorist propaganda appearing on the cover of today's New Statesman, John Pilger puts the blame for the 7/7 London attacks not on the terrorists, but rather on Tony Blair:
Blind BBC
Talk about your blind items. Here's a story on the BBC News website that talks about a report that finds that "Almost 60% of Arab Muslims living in the US fear for the future of their families...."
Almost a quarter of those asked said a family member had been insulted because of their race or religion.
Researchers questioned more than 1,500 people in the Detroit area over a six-month period, examining attitudes to Arab Americans since 11 September 2001.
They found 49% of the general population would support the increased surveillance of Arab Americans.
The conclusions bear out what several Arab and Muslim groups have been saying since the 9/11 attacks.
The weird thing is that the article doesn't mention who put this report together or who issued it. The article doesn't mention the name of the report or provide a link to the report- nothing. What the hell is this report? And where might I find it?
Come on, Barnie Choudhury, earn your pay and tell us what you're writing about. Don't keep everything to yourself. One might think that you only wanted us to draw from this report the conclusions that you've explicitly given us rather than letting us see the data and decide for ourselves what it means. Oh, wait. I get it now.
