Just Plain Mean
One day I noticed quite a lot of hits on a picture I posted with this post, most of which did not originate from this site. The pic has become somewhat popular with gay teenage bandwidth-thieves who run their own blogs or social-networking sites. Apparently there's a whole subculture of this sort of thing, and linking to pictures found elsewhere seems to be acceptable there.
So I changed the pic's filename on my server, and edited the post to point to the pic's new url. So my post appears the same. And then, just to be mean about the whole thing, I uploaded a new graphic using the old filename that these sites are linking to so that this new graphic now appears on these websites, mixed in with the paeans to gay marriage (which I support by the way). The new pic is here. Was that wrong?
